Airlie Beach Helps Disabled Bowlers
Aurlie Beach Bowls Club in far north Queensland has joined up with Work Connections Ltd to assist four intellectually impaired men by teaching them to play bowls. In just 8 weeks, the four men showed great development and grasped the rules and etiquette of the sport without issue. The club has encouraged the men to join the club as regular bowlers so they can enjoy the fun and camaraderie of playing a sport.
